Danielle de Graaf
BSc, RMT, CMLDT

An Annapolis Valley native, Danielle has been practicing massage therapy since 2002. She graduated with honors from ICT™ Northumberland College in Halifax, NS after completing an undergraduate diploma in Biology at Bishop’s University. She decided to return to the Valley to launch her career at King’s Physiotherapy Clinic Ltd., a well-established multi-disciplinary clinic in New Minas.

After six years of practicing, working mostly with WCB (Worker’s Compensation Board), MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) and private claims, she decided to make a change and began working with Sarah
Hayes at Kingsport Osteopathic Clinic. This change allowed her to increase hours at her home-based practice, Blue Horizon Massage, and have more time with her family. In 2009, Danielle joined the team at VMTC, and in January 2016 became the new owner of this well-established business.

Over the years Danielle has enjoyed enhancing her skills by taking courses in Pregnancy, Deep Tissue Therapy, Cupping, and Muscle Energy Techniques and now is trained in IASTM. In 2007, she began taking courses to be certified in Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). To learn more about MLD please refer to the ‘Services’ tab. Danielle enjoys working with all age groups and hopes to increase the awareness of the benefit of Massage Therapy and MLD to the young athletic community to enhancing their performance and overall health.

Danielle specializes in Deep Tissue, TMJ dysfunction, and MLD. She also accepts MVAs in her practice.
